Contacts

Minidoka County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, retrieve an official booking record, or make a records decision. Contact the agency that created or holds the record.

Where to Ask About a Record

The public jail site and the county records unit answer different questions. Use the contact card below for the current custody question, the booking sheet or photograph request, and the later court result.

The Records Division says arrest files can include pictures, fingerprints, dispositions, and booking sheets. Use the county public-record request form for a booking sheet or releasable booking photograph. Give the full name, approximate date, agency, booking number, and exact records requested. The county page says to allow three business days for a police-report response; it does not publish a special mugshot fee.

Choose the Right Official Route

Use the following destinations according to the record or custody state you need.

City Police Contacts

City records and county booking records are not always held by the same office.

Rupert Police Department

633 Fremont Avenue
Rupert, ID 83350
208-434-2330
Records form includes an incident photographs category.

Heyburn Police Department

1800 J Street
Heyburn, ID 83336
208-679-4545
Records fax: 208-679-0662
Requests: policerecords@heyburncity.org

Paul policing

Minidoka County Sheriff's Department
718 H Street, Rupert, ID 83350
208-434-2320
Emergency: 911

Rupert and Heyburn have city police records routes. Paul's official page says county sheriff personnel provide policing, so a Paul request should identify the county agency and use the Minidoka form.

What to Include in a Request

A precise request reduces delay and helps the custodian locate the correct event.

  1. Full name and any spelling variation that appears in the source.
  2. Approximate arrest or booking date and the city or location.
  3. Booking number, case number, arresting agency, or incident number if known.
  4. Specific records requested, such as the booking sheet, photograph, report, or disposition.
  5. Preferred delivery format and a request for the legal basis of any denial or redaction.

Do not send a photo request to a third-party index. A copied page is not the record custodian. If a request is denied, ask whether a redacted copy or a different official custodian is available.
